Faulty Cameras in Our Minds

A broken heart is worth so much more than a whole one. A whole heart is content. It is quiet. It is safe. It goes about its business as usual, carrying on, experiencing all of life from its contented viewpoint.

A broken heart, however, is awash with the pangs of inspiration and desire. It demands to be felt, to be heard, to be fixed. A broken heart must fight to stay alive. It must create. It must resound with other broken hearts. A broken heart is a heart with nothing to lose. A heart that will not stop. A heart that makes a change.

It was, in fact, a broken heart that created life. A broken heart that died to make a difference. It is because of God’s broken heart that we were saved.
